The springs are then cold wound using CNC coilers before being both shot-peened and heat treated to ensure a long and efficient lifespan. The lowering springs then undergo a treatment using phosphate and also receive a baked-on coating using resin powder, thus delivering a hard and truly corrosion-resistant shell.
Cobra have also redesigned the OE spring and worked to lower the centre of gravity, leading to a dramatic improvement in both vehicle appearance and performance. The implementation of a progressive springs rate also results in improved road handling while delivering the comfortable ride you are always entitled to expect.

MG (Morris Garages) is a UK vehicle manufacturing marque under the now disbanded MG Car Company Ltd. Starting life in the 1920s, MG is infamous for its two-seater open top sports cars however it is just as well known for its coupés and saloons.
The MG business itself carried on being Morris's own property until July 1935 when he passed it to his holding company, Morris Motors Limited. The brand then went through a large number of changes in ownership, beginning with a merger with Austin in 1952. By the beginning of the year 2000, MG became part of the MG Rover Group, which subsequently went into receivership in 2005. The assets and MG brand were then bought by Nanjing Automobile Group for £53 million. Production commenced again in China in 2007 in China, with the unveiling of the brand new MG 6, the first MG in the UK for 16 years, officially marketed in June 2011.
Between 1982 and 1991, the MG name was used to badge sportier versions of the Rover Metro by Austin as well as the Montego and Maestro ranges. The MG brand itself was not an entity in its own right again until 1992, with the introduction of the MG RV8, a modernised version of the MGB Roadster, complete with a Rover V8 engine. A second iteration arrived in the middle of 1995, when the very popular MG F twin-seat roadster came along.
When the Rover group was then broken up in 2001, MG badges continued to be used on sports models of Rover-based cars including the MG ZR, MG ZT and the MG TF in 2002. MG Rover went into administration in 2005 and manufacturing then ceased.
