EBC Turbo Groove Brake Discs undergo extensive testing and rigorous quality control and are made from premium quality castings before being machined to exacting standards. EBC Turbo Groove Brake Discs benefit from a combination of wide aperture grooves and blind drilled “Dimple Holes” which deliver a high quality discs that performs and keeps cool in even the toughest conditions. They also clear any dust, dirt and gases quickly from the braking area. The blind drilled dimples help break down surface gases, but do not promote cracking which has been shown to occur with some through-drilled discs. The result is a disc that not only improves performance but also maintains a flat and parallel pad surface throughout the lifetime of the brake pads.
EBC Turbo Groove Brake Discs are the choice of many race teams and the majority of the UK police force due to their ability to cool the brake pad and rotor interface and again maintain flat parallel pad wear.
All EBC Turbo Groove Brake Discs are gold zinc anodised for corrosion resistance. Optimum brake performance is realised after the zinc coating has been removed from the pad track area. Brake-In coating found on EBC pads will remove this within 50 miles.
