As the name implies Tarox Sport Japan brake discs were originally designed for the Japanese market where tough looks and high performance are important factors. Tarox Sport Japan brake discs feature 6 grooves on the braking surface which deglaze the pads and help vent the gasses and scale which cause fading.
Drilled holes remove heat from the discs, allowing the discs to run cooler. All Tarox Sport Japan brake discs are heat treated for strength, milled on numerically controlled machines and hand finished to ensure the smoothest possible braking surface. Tarox Sport Japan brake discs are TÜV approved.

As they were a special order from Tarox I paid and extra £20 for fast delivery and received them in 6 days. Fitting was a piece of cake – Audi have really got their engineering right and I took the car straight out for a good drive. The discs bedded in quickly and right from the start performed very well. I was pleasantly surprised at how little noise they generate as I had thought that the drilled & grooved profile would be quite noisey. I was considering the Ferodo DS2500 brake pads but decided to keep with OEM pads and don’t regret this as the pedal feel and braking performance is very good. I would certainly recommend this product and considering the size of the disc & strength of the OEM caliper I doubt a big brake kit would be required in all but the most extreme circumstances”
